What's new in GT World Challenge for 2026?

GT World Challenge Europe's 2026 season runs ten rounds around the 24 Hours of Spa, with Portimão returning as the endurance finale after a decade away.

The 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season runs ten rounds from April to October, split evenly into five Sprint Cup and five Endurance Cup weekends, with combined results deciding the overall title.

As ever, the year is built around the 24 Hours of Spa in late June — the sport's greatest GT3 race and the single most valuable round on the calendar.

The headline change is the return of Portimão. The Algarve International Circuit closes the season as its endurance finale, its first appearance on the calendar in over a decade — and its first ever as an Endurance Cup round, having previously featured only in the Sprint Cup.

Otherwise the calendar stays largely stable, taking in established European venues, while the global GT World Challenge title continues to be fought across the European, American and Asian arms of the series. New to it all? Start with what GT World Challenge is.
